Starting from April 1, the total government fee for the Business Registration Certificate (BR) will be adjusted from HKD $2,200 to HKD $2,350!

The total government fee for the Business Registration Certificate (BR) consists of two parts: the registration fee (Fee) and the levy (Levy). In February 2026, the Financial Secretary announced in the 2026/27 Budget that the levy (HKD $150) would be reinstated, while the registration fee remains unchanged at HKD $2,200. As a result, the total fee amounts to HKD $2,350 in 2026/27.
